Demonstrating the power of story and lived experience to enable policy makers, law enforcement and service providers to get behind the data. This evidence-based, behaviour change project worked across three inner-Melbourne councils to gather stories and empirical evidence to inform policy and strategy in relation to the impacts of alcohol on communities. The project sought to identify’ levers for change’ in relation to alcohol related violence and anti-social behaviour. The diversity of voices captured in the research process brought the data to life and enabled the stakeholders to identify partnerships for real culture change.
